About us

What do people remember about Einstein’s work? E=mc2.
Thousands of pages of Descartes’s writings? Cogito, ergo sum.
The Eagles’ thirty singles? Hotel California.

Summarising complex works with one formula, one title or one acronym is simpler, but not necessarily accurate. This might be a bigger problem for the product development community (product strategists, product managers, product designers, and engineers) when the smartest among us feel inept as we try to figure out simple problems with complex solutions or fail to understand the reason for not having enough growth on the awesomely developed product. As we know, the great product fits our needs, so the virtuosity of genius minds is invisible. Whereas, bad products scream out their inadequacies, making themselves so noticeable that we tend to get stuck in the product-market fit puzzle. The fault is not in ourselves but in understanding and implementing the fundamentals of product development and design that ignores the needs and psychology of people.

Being a product developer can be incredibly stressful. During my entire experience, I have learned a lot from others and I intend to share back with the world, to the extent that I can, in my core area of expertise. The key emphasis of this blog is the importance of developing products that fit not only the needs but also the capabilities of the people. Most important – Fundamentals and technicals are the essences of product development. My goal is to make product developers and designers sensitive to the problems of life and to the needs of the people.

Thirstycrow.inTM is an effort to enhance the product community’s understanding of what can be done in different product development phases, draw principles of psychology, design, art, and emotion to ensure the product’s positive and enjoyable experience, which is beyond the product’s usability and understandability. Along the way, I try to emphasize fundamental principles required to eliminate problems, with a defined roadmap and addressing specific limitations, to turn the everyday moments into enjoyable products that provide pleasure and satisfaction.

Cogito Ergo Sum – “I think, therefore I am” – a certain conclusion when surrounded by doubt and uncertainty. For any argument, please reach out to me inder@thirstycrow.in
